There was a time not too long ago when the Off-Topic Board was abuzz in preparation for BWW: The Musical.
Do a search for 'bww the musical', and you'll find the cast list and song list.

re: Broadwayworld.com The Musical#4
Posted: 10/10/05 at 7:12pmCan we update the cast list or something, so others can be added?
re: Broadwayworld.com The Musical#5
Posted: 10/10/05 at 7:41pmActually, anyone seriously interested in a project like this, please send me a PM or email. All aspects of creative team needed. Just got an idea...
re: Broadwayworld.com The Musical#6
Posted: 10/10/05 at 7:48pmAnd Marc Shaiman wrote a song parody featuring some of the posters, didn't he? Ah, good times.

Craig, your search-fu is far faster than mine. Of course, I watched the thing again before coming back to post the link here. :)
*wipes tears from eyes* Man, I love that video. It still rings true, doesn't it?

Just adding to my previous post - if you PM, please include in what capacity you'd like to be involved, and any ideas you may have for the project. I'll PM back with my AIM handle and we can chat.
Thanks,
S

Posted: 10/10/05 at 8:12pmwhy don't you just read the first BWW musical thread... ?
re: Broadwayworld.com The Musical#13
Posted: 10/10/05 at 8:19pmBecause that deals with something slightly different than what I've got in mind, and I'd like to see if I can actually make a project like this materialize.

Yeah, but serious jockeying can get rather nasty in public. While I'm well aware that it's part of the point of said public jockeying, it's not entirely the most productive way to get things done. That said, anyone who wants to jockey is more than welcome...
Maybe we can have the creative team chosen American Idol-style. Post a verse and chorus and then we all vote, no?

Can I be "Production Supervisor"? That way I can make sure it of the highest quality! (Though it maybe a little difficult being on another continent!).
This is something you could work up for a "end of year" type party next year.

Posted: 10/10/05 at 8:44pmLet's say this project becomes a reality. Who could we possibly get to play ConvinceMe2? What actors have his Adonis-like looks, his gentleness, his suave British disposition and those blue eyes that make me turn to molasses everytime he switches his avatar?

Posted: 10/10/05 at 8:50pmOkay. That problem is solved. Now, is there an actor short enough to play Liam? Gary Coleman is too old.
