$13.75 for all seats/all performances? Wow! In San Jose. Looks like this is not selling well in SJ.

I don't intend to see it but I was wondering if it is really that bad? The reasons I am not going have nothing to do with the show itself since I will see most anything, it's the cost (time and money) of getting to SJ from SF and the theatre is not one of my favorites.

it doesn't surprise me. there was no one when i went in atlanta. i wouldn't have gone if i didn't have cheap tickets. i got front row center balcony for $20. best seat in the house

The show ISN'T that bad, but it isn't that great. I think alot of people don't exactly know what the show is about, and I guess that word of mouth isn't exactly working.

I know in Dallas, they had an offer for half price tickets, and they offered tickets to various local concerts if you bought a ticket to Brooklyn. I was quite surprised when I went on a Tuesday night because the house was quite full for a weeknight. The way they were advertising I was expecting a very empty theatre.

I personally didn't quite understand the marketing approach in Dallas. Of course, Michael Jenkins is the head of the Dallas Summer Musicals, and he invested in Brooklyn. So I guess they wanted a really full house for this show.

They sure are trying to do anything to fill the seats for this show!

The music is awesome ... if only I had waited to buy a ticket. I got a ticket in the 12th row on the side using the artsopolis.com half-off discount, which came out to $29 with the $4 service charge (Since I take classes at AMT, I picked the ticket up at the box office, which saved me some cash). For $14, though, I might just go again :)

The music is great; give the show a chance. If you like Godspell and/or Hair, you'll probably love Brooklyn. I have been checking ticket availability lately, and a number of closer seats have become available, which is a shame. More people need to give Brklyn a chance.
