Bway Actors on Sex and the City

I was wondering who everyone's favorite Broadway performers are who have appeared on Sex and the City?

I love Sean Palmer as Stamford's boyfriend but I also loved Chris Sieber as Sammantha's masseuse and Craig Bierko as Carrie's jazz musician boyfriend.

(I've actually had a small, recurring role on SATC over the past two seasons so I've had a chance to work with many of these performers. It's been amazing!)

Matt Morrison of Hairspray fame was a waiter. :)
Jamie Gustis from Footloose was a sailor during the 'fleetweek' episode.

I've actually only appeared as an extra in a bunch of the coffee shop scenes. Once I was the girls waiter. I'm very fortunate that they keep asking me back. (Don't blink, though or you'll miss me)

Julie Halston who plays Miss Electra in Gypsy played Nathan Lane's character's wife on the season 5 season finale ( i think it was season 5). Her character's name was Bitsy Von Muffling or something like that and they all went to the wedding in the Hamptons (around the time that the Burger/Carrie fling started).

Are you sure Michele was on an episode? I don't get HBO so I can't say that I get a chance to always watch the show... I can ask though

Mary (ON THE TOWN/42nd STREET) Testa has also appeared on SEX IN THE CITY singing ALL THAT JAZZ with Sean dancing in the background in an episode from a season or two ago. Too funny! On an upcomimg show I'm an "extra". Look quickly or you'll miss me walking my beautiful White German Shepherd behind Cynthia Nixon. It was a blast and the cast and crew could not have been nicer!

Wait Mamamia, you're a recurring guest on my fav show too? So many of you on this board. Kudos. Most recently, Julia Murney was on a great episode (although, she's *technically* never been on Bway, so I'm not sure that counts) and even more recently, Orfeh had a funny moment in one of (IMO), the all time best episodes of "Sex..". It was the episode where that creepy Berger, breaks up with Carrie on a "post-it". I'm so happy he's not on the show anymore. What a dud.

Hey, Buck, I'll be looking for you and your dog on SATC. I was also an extra on an episode that aired a few weeks ago, but I think I ended up on the cutting room floor! Either that or the show hasn't aired yet. It was fun anyway and I agree, everyone was very nice!

I looked at the site with actors appearing in SATC and had to give a shout out for Frances Sternhagen (Bunny). I enjoyed her performance in Mornings at Seven (two years ago)?

I wish this wasn't the last season of SATC.

Frances Sternhagen is genius! I loved her in "Talking Heads".

I'm also sad that it's the last season (I'm going to miss that paycheck! lol) but I'm glad that they're going out while they're still on top.

Marc Kudish as the crazy S&M guy. Seeing him in that closet with whips and chains has forever changed my image of him as Graydon in Millie.

My favorite is David Eigenberg, too! Mario and I were in the same episode together which was a hoot. The episode was nominated for an emmy!

I'm so lucky to have been in around 30 episodes, in the coffeeshop as the girls' waitress, and finally to have lines as that character. It was a great experience, being part of that production for a few seasons!

When I left the show, my dear friend took over as the girls' waitress, and she's still doing it! Too bad the show is ending.

Actually it wasn't me. I never did anything at FAO Schwartz.

BTW Luluhed, who are the two people in your pic? Is one of them Sarah Jessica? And whatever made you leave such a great part?
