Thanks, Cookie. One more plug out for the show tonight! Word of mouth has been really good, the reviews are mostly positive-to-glowing, so I think that says it all!
I have just returned from the most lovely evening at the theater. I had the opportunity to take in this fantastic performance of my Baby Daddy and his wonderful supporting company. Alright, so maybe it was a "group" effort but still, my Baby Daddy outshone them all.
I was not alone. The venue was quite packed and very responsive (at least from where I was sitting.) I was able to spend some quality time waiting for Idina...I mean Bwaysinger...to come out afterwards with Boobs, bdwaygirl, and andyf. All in all, a fantastic evening.
This post may read as over the top but in reality, its all true. I really did have a great time and I'm genuinely proud of my bwaysinger!
I wholeheartedly agree with bythesword! I enjoyed the show very much, and it was a pleasure to finally meet Mr. Singer! Boobs and I, waiting with our sharpies at the ready, were very patient, as he dealt with his legions of fans.
Go see this show while you still can!
I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2."unleash the girly"

My very favorite Eric moment: his solo in Having It Our Way. He's got a hell of a voice. And although for a different song, he also got a special mention in NYTheatre's review. Kinda says it all, doesn't it.
Seriously, it's a fun show with good music and a strong cast. (In addition to Eric, I also have to also mention Richard Todd Adams, who is really quite something.)
Congratulations, bway! You've got a lot to be proud of! The Review

I heard a rumor that bwaysinger won't sign after matinees. And that if you ask, he will just scowl and push past you. One of his fans got their hand hurt when bwaysinger slammed it in his town car door (accidentally?). I also hear that bwaysinger hasn't been doing all 8 shows a week. I also hear that bwaysinger is dating/screwing all of the producers behind his wife's back. And, I heard that bwaysinger slapped a castmate backstage.
Oh, by the way, Iflit is 100% correct: I am in awe of Richard Todd Adams. The man is fearless as a performer. You'll see what I mean when you see the show, folks. He's a brilliant, brilliant man and you will all be agreeing the day he finally wins a Tony (and he will).
Oh, and since it wasn't posted here yet (you have to scroll down a bit to find the review):
