Creel's contract will say he has to leave his long hair so he's out

Don't kill me but...I could see Joey McIntyre doing it.

What exactly is the word on this show? Whose doing the music? when's it set to open? or what's going on with it? i heard about it awhile back and had been meaning to ask about it.

CATCH ME IF YOU CAN is being helmed by the musical team that created the hit musical HAIRPSRAY, Marc Shaiman and Scott Whittman. They're currently working on it and have showcased some numbers from it. The script is being written by Terrence McNally.
No opening date or out-of-town tryout has been scheduled but I would expect it to hit Broadway in late 2006-early 2007.

Barrett Foa should be Frank. He is perfect for the role.

Frank Jr. I wouldn't mind seein Morrison in that role, then again I wouldn't mind seeing him in any role.

Wasn't there something posted not too long ago about a reading they just did for this? I remember reading about it and being surprised at who was Frank in the reading...was it Joey McIntyre?

I can see Hary Groener as the father.

I just thought of Alda for some reason. I could picture him doing it. Plus he did that Woody Allen movie musical, "Everyone Says I Love You". Who knows if hes actually singing in that, though.

Will I be beat to a pulp by the "enough already" brigade if I suggest Norbert Butz for Hanratty?
I wonder if Christopher Walken would reprise the role of Frank Sr? That would rock.
