CATS minor choreography change?

Has anyone familiar with the musical CATS noticed a specific movement change in the choreography between Victoria and Plato? I've attended CATS many times over the years, watched the DVD and always noticed when Plato 'claws' runs his two hands, with fingers extended, firmly down the front of Victoria's body from shoulders, across her breasts to her hips. When I attended the matinee performance on Sunday, December 10th...this was changed and not in there.

Wonder if this was changed because of all the sexual misconduct allegations coming out in the news daily? About 57 seconds into this video clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnAZvoX14rQ

CATS minor choreography change?

I wonder if it’s because this is a different production with a different choreographer.

Have you seen this particular production before? Andy Blankenbuehler is credited with the choreography "based on" the work of Gillian Lynne, so it is likely minor changes were made even to Lynne choreography that he kept.

CATS minor choreography change?

Saw this revival last year when it first opened and that choreography WAS in there. It is very noticeable. Just the two are dancing a very intimate loving ballet moment with the lights and focus entirely on them.

CATS minor choreography change?

Is there a different actor or actress playing either of the roles? I wouldn't be surprised if there was alternative choreo offered.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

CATS minor choreography change?

I saw this show with 2 seasoned Broadway vets, and they both agreed they took all the sexiness out of the original choreography. It seemed very "Disney"... family friendly-ish. Even the Rum Tum Tugger choreography... we all remembered the female cats to be all over him. It's not your imagination. It's not sexy anymore and that was noticed, at least by me and my 2 friends, right at the beginning of the run.
