Despite the fact that I prefer most of the lyrics on the concept album as opposed to the OCR I'm happy that that we'll get to hear Idina's "Someone else's story".

Is anyone else less than enthused about Groban?

Idina didn't sing Someone Else's Story. That was Kerry Ellis.

I didn't know they were releasing a CD, too. Was it recorded live, or is this a studio recording? I am so out of the loop.

Amazon has it listed as Live, for whatever that's worth.

It looks like there's a single-disc version of a highlights as well as a complete 2-disc version. The DVD is still cheaper than both, though.

I love Idina, but I don't think she sounded good in Chess AT ALL.
