Thank God Jackie Mason is FINALLY retiring his tired routine, that has most unfortunately been regurgitated up onto many a stage, all the same 500 year old schtick, but with different titles.
Painfully unfunny.
Go.
The Country Girl is STILL open?
Yep. I saw it on Wednesday night, and Morgan Freeman could not have looked more bored.

He was on the Today show and discussing Batman, and didn't seem too thrilled when the subject of "The Country Girl" came up. He just seemed over it.
Myself and a handful of other board members will be at Passing Strange tomorrow.
Check the Official PS Love Thread for details, tonight, (re the filming, and tomorrow re the last show) !
July 20 is also the final performance for Laura Bell Bundy, Max Crumm, and Laura Osnes in their respective shows.
It's also the last day for Jacqui Polk in Hairspray and Maia Nkenge Wilson in RENT. Also Charlotte D'Amboise, correct?
Saw Jackie Mason & his tired 500 year old routine & enjoyed it as did the entire audience.
I guess everything needs to be deadly serious.
You know, I saw Adding Machine the other night...and didn't love it.
The music is very good, and the performances were good as well, but the book seemed sloppy and lacked a clear thru-line. It seemed like a series of scenes- not a single play.
Wish everyone from these shows the best...

How sad that Passing Strange and Adding Machine, musical written with craft and passion about something are closing the same week that a piece of sh-t, TOS, opened on Broadway. Unlike TOS, Passing Strange and Adding Machine will be long remembered.
Wishing everyone involved with these shows the best!
we'll be on the unemployment virtual line like everybody else!?!

How could Passing Strange possibly be closing? It just opened in February!
The score is amazing, as well.
