Thank God Jackie Mason is FINALLY retiring his tired routine, that has most unfortunately been regurgitated up onto many a stage, all the same 500 year old schtick, but with different titles.
Painfully unfunny.

Saw Jackie Mason & his tired 500 year old routine & enjoyed it as did the entire audience.
I guess everything needs to be deadly serious.

You know, I saw Adding Machine the other night...and didn't love it.
The music is very good, and the performances were good as well, but the book seemed sloppy and lacked a clear thru-line. It seemed like a series of scenes- not a single play.
Wish everyone from these shows the best...

Posted: 7/20/08 at 5:04amHow sad that Passing Strange and Adding Machine, musical written with craft and passion about something are closing the same week that a piece of sh-t, TOS, opened on Broadway. Unlike TOS, Passing Strange and Adding Machine will be long remembered.

How could Passing Strange possibly be closing? It just opened in February!
