COLD WAR musical by Costello & McPherson will premiere at the Almeida

This November sees the world premiere of Cold Warbased on Pawe Pawlikowski’s Academy Award-nominated film of the same name, with a creative team including Grammy Award-winner Elvis Costello and Conor McPherson (Girl from the North Country).

Almeida Artistic Director Rupert Goold (Tammy Faye) directs Anya Chalotra (The Witcher), Elliot Levey (Cabaret) and Luke Thallon (Patriots) in this compelling story of passion, redemption, and the journey to be free.

I hope it comes here too. Costello and McPherson sound like an interesting team. I am not familiar with the movie but it looks like it’s my cup of tea and as usual the trailer gives away too much. I will watch the film since it’s on Prime.
