Trying it in the morning. Is it true that evening perfs go on sale at 10am now instead of noon (like they were earlier in the run)
Are the front two rows still held for rush?
How has the line been? Fill up early?

Yes I know all that is true. I want to go in the morning too, but I want to watch Drowsy on Regis and Kelly so is it completely necessary to be there at 10 since its a weekday or would there still be tix available at 12??

Posted: 6/7/06 at 11:46pmWould there be tickets left for the night show at around 12:30? I'm trying to go again next Wednesday for the night show, but can't get in till about 12:30. Thanks too

Posted: 6/7/06 at 11:47pmtickets do go on sale at 10am. It is tourist season... so if you're not in line by 815/830am at the latest, forget tickets. I'm not exaggerating. A friend of mine got there at 9am on some obscure weekday, i think a tuesday, and was pretty far back in the line. there were no tickets left. it's worth sitting there for about 2 hours if you really want to see it. bring a friend, or bring a book. good luck!

On sunday the box office opens at 12-I got there at 9:30 and was the 4th person in line.
Monday I plan on going and getting there at like 6:30-7ish. Thats about a good time to go if you wanna be one of the firsts!

Did the rush this morning (Wednesday, rainied all morning and afternoon). I got there at 8:30am and was 10th in line. The first people in line arrived at 6am. Everyone stands in one line before the box office opens. When the box office opens they split the line in two. One line for those wanting to buy tickets for evening and another for those wanting matinee.
Good luck!

Posted: 6/13/06 at 11:46pmI would suggest getting there wayyyyyy before 10. I got there at 7:30 and there was already a mini line forming. And they are GREAT seats. You could touch LaChanze.

what time should i get there on a saturday to get matinee tickets? I need to get 5, so should i get there earlier to be sure not to get the last ones and possibly run out before i get 5?

Hey just an fyi you know that it's only 2 tix/person, so there'd need to be three of you in line total (and not just you alone) if you wanted to buy five tix? I've only ever done the rush for Wed, not Sat, but I would say you'd probably want to be in line by 8am?
and the last time I did the rush after the first two rows of the center orch section were sold, the box office was selling some seats in the first two rows side orch sections. Only time I'd ever seen that, but just an fyi that apparently it's not always *only* the center orch first two rows that they sell.

Posted: 6/14/06 at 12:26pmYeah, I was in seats to the far right of the front row when I last rushed it. Still, they're wonderful seats, especially for the price. You're still close, and anything that goes on stage left is even closer to you than if you were sitting in the center.
