To those who can attend the promo with Cubby and XANADU cast today, from 4:00 - 6:00, please let me know how it is!
Cubby is supposed to make a highly-anticipated rare public speech in front of the theatre. So curious to see what he has to say.

Don't worry, for those of you who can't make it - there WILL be a video of the event up soon (though I don't think there will be virtual cub-cakes available, haha).
And for those of you who CAN make it today - can't wait to see you! Don't forget all the info: 4-6 pm, Helen Hayes Theatre (240 W. 44th St., NYC)

Went to the event and Cubby made a rousing speech about Xanadu taking home the Tony. He got the whole crowd chanting "Yes it can!" It was really great and it does look like there will be a video since they were taping during the event. Also, right before it looked like they were taping something for a future episode with "Tony nominee" Kerry Butler and "Tony winner" Cady Huffman. LOL!
BTW, the cubcakes were delicious. I need to get that recipe for the icing.
