It was posted, but I'm too lazy to search for the link now. I'm gonna try to go tomorrow, but I'll probably be late.

Another thing...why do they do all the cast signings and performances at Barnes and Noble now? Whatever happened to doing this stuff at the Virgin Megastore?

WAT, I'm going to try to make it there. I'm sad that Noah Racey isn't on the list to appear, though. re: CURTAINS Troupers Will Sing and Sign Cast Albums June 14 in NYC

I prefer Barnes & Noble to Virgin. It's quieter.

I agree. I despise both walking to (through the middle of TS) and being in Virgin Records. Barnes and Noble is much better.

The CD signing was awesome. Debra Monk, Karen Ziemba, Jason Danieley, and Michael McCormick sang "What Kind Of Man?" and then Jason Danieley sang "I Miss The Music."

John Kander and Rupert Holmes were also there and they personalized my CD for me. Both were extremely chatty with the fans and very gracious. It was thrilling to meet them. Also in attendance were Debra Monk, Jill Paice, David Hyde Pierce, Edward Hibbert, Jason Danieley, and Michael McCormick. There was a huge crowd there...and when John Kander was announced before the performances, the audience gave him a standing ovation. I'm so happy I got to meet him!

I was there also and enjoyed it very much.

Well, except for the almost fist fight that was ready to break out next to me when the guy next to me kept holding his arm up with his camera to get pictures over the heads of people in front of us. The guy behind him was very annoyed and kept telling him so with his deep voice that carried also because he didn't whisper while telling the guy to move his arm saying he couldn't see. He was quite loud complaining just as Jason Danieley started singing and the guy next to me went to take another picture. I'd be shocked if Jason didn't hear him. I wasn't sitting behind the guy taking the pics, and while I may have found it annoying if it was me, I find it hard to believe the guy could see so little to warrant such loud and somewhat obnoxious behavior, that spilled over after the singing was done to practically a pissing contest. Unbelievable. And these weren't young people who wouldn't know better.

But it was great and I enjoyed meeting the cast and John Kander. I've met Rupert Holmes on a couple of occasions previously. They were all very sweet and gracious.

I wonder how many people were left outside the room to watch the monitors and listen on the speakers.

tons...i was left outside...didn't get into the CD signing until after everyone in the room left. my friend and i got there a little after 4:30...and it still wasn't enough time! i was right behind the door though, so i watched through the glass and could still hear everything fine.

Did you notice what time you got up to the table? I was done rather early as I was in the first section up for signing. I was in the next to the last row in the left section. They started with the last row and worked their way forward ,so we were the second row to go up.
I was also wondering if they got to everyone that who wanted something signed. I wasn't sure what time the cast had to leave to get ready for their performance tonight.

It was by far the most relaxed and pleasant of all CD signings I've been to. Even though there was a time-limit on the cast members time, you'd never know it. They were all very chatty and friendly with the audience. And meeting John Kander was icing on the cake!

Funniest moment: The audience roared on Debras' line "Does 'debacle' have multiple meanings?" in "What Kind of Man?" and when David Hyde Pierce came on the B&N stage to indoduce Jason's number, he quipped, "The Barnes and Noble audinece is the best. You're so smart and well-read. That line about 'debacle' has NEVER gotten such a laugh in the theater as it has here."

"Christ, Bette Davis?!?!"
