Posted: 9/25/06 at 7:35pmI ordered this a few weeks ago from amazon and they recently told me that their supplier cut them off. I cannot find any online store that has it, but does anyone know where I can find a copy (online or otherwise?) Thanks!

Posted: 9/26/06 at 10:10amI have a copy..took a long time to find it..its very good..the full orchestrations and then some..also some alternate versions of some of the songs as they were presented in various productions of the show.

Hmm if Amazon's supplier cut them off it may be because they are having financial problems and not paying their bills. Same thing happened last month with Tower. This is unsettling news.
ALtry try www.footlight.com - they have everything and often have stock after everyone else sells out.
Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!

Don't be too disappointed. That documentary is so out of date and not worth the full hour you'd spend watching it. The only hilights are the footage from the show, and most if it was filmed rather poorly, the most obvious one being the crappy camera work during "Master of the House" in a sad attempt to disguise the fact that they didn't have a stage full of actors, but just the Thernadiers. At the end, these people suddenly appear and fill the seats. The best is probably the video of Linzi Hateley singing "On My Own."
Save your money.

I agree, the two times I have tried to watch Stage by Stage I have fallen asleep!
In regards to Cabaret, call all the libraries in your area. Sometimes they have odd things that are now out of print/hard to come by!
