Who lisences Cabaret? And is it the Original Broadway, Revial version, or both that are liscened?

Is the Money Song in the '87 Revival the same or similar to "Money" in the '98 revival?

Yes, Not Barker, it does.
There's actually a recording of it on the complete recording on Jay Records. That version is performed by Jonathan Pryce.

Posted: 5/4/08 at 9:36pmIt's true that the 98 revival isn't licensed, but since the script has been made readily available I've seen two regional productions here in San Diego that have staged the revival version. I'm sure there have been others as well.
