Hah I think she would be better on stage then on film, due to her looking a tad too old, but I really love her raspy tone. It reminds me a lot of Vanessa Oliverez, the Toronto Tracy.

She played Tracy for the entire run in Toronto...and I liked her a lot. Vocally she blew other Tracy's out of the water (except maybe Shoshana when she went on), and she handled the emotional scenes really well. Her only downfall was her slightly scewed comic timing, but she was endearing enough to be forgiven for it.

Posted: 4/10/06 at 1:36ami definitely think this girls got an insane amount of talent!! however... does anyone feel her singing voice is a little low for tracy and that her riffs are a little too soulful for tracy? though those riffs could work for tracy somehow... idk she's really got in her to make the changes to be more "tracy"... we'll see!

I thought that, too, but figured perhaps it was her service or something.
I don't think her voice is all that. It seemed like she didn't have a lot of higher notes.

Posted: 4/10/06 at 1:56amI agree Kringas. She has a good voice - no doubt - but I felt her higher belt wasn't all there. I could see her sorta wince at some of the higher notes and she didn't even attempt the last night. Does Tracy normally go higher at the end of "GMB"?

Shoshana Bean played Tracy a couple of times, so I think Caety's riffs are okay
