As you may know,
Rebecca Luker,
Danny's vivacious and torrentially beautiful wife,
was herself Tony nominated for best actress in a musical for her sensational singing and performances in both 1995 and in 2000 for the revivals of Show Boat and then The Music Man.
Yet she was robbed, robbed of the Tony both times!
Can her sweet hubby bring her home the Tony bacon (Drowse that metaphor!) on this his first nomination, as featured actor in a musical?
The competition is fierce!
Only time will tell...

Only time will tell, as you say.
From your mouth to God's ears!
I'd LOVE it if he won though. I'm still laughing at the memory of his performance six months after I saw it.
I'm sorry, he cannot have that award.
I don't think so. If Manoel doesn't beat him, Jim Dale will.

It belongs to the remarkable Jim Dale.
No, he can't have it either.
Emcee---step away from the ballot box.
NOW!
Way to botch my plan to run the universe... er, the Tonys.
I did not find Jim Dale great at all.
The award is Manoel's.

Those other names are mere aliases of the incomparable Danny Burstein!
Don't be fooled, Tony voters.
Vote for Danny.
*steals, puts away non-Mano ballots*
*stops fantasy*
I absolutely hated every second of Danny Burstein in DROWSY. Not his fault really, I just hated the role, the direction, and therefore, his performance.

Yet somehow he was nominated for the Tony.
Think of that.
Some many someones do disagree, and is that surprising?

I didn't find anything so spectacular about Jim Dale either but something tells me he'll get the award. I'd give it to Mano in a heartbeat though.
I suppose I'll have my pint of ice cream ready and waiting. :-P
This category is always my heartbreaker.

Danny is an acquired taste.
Like roast beef and watermelon.
...Together?
Personally, I'm swiping all the Tony ballots and voting for Carrie White... and when that creepy girl gets to the podium... I'm dumping pig's blood all over her!!!
I saw Rebecca on the train today and told her hello and to wish her hubby good luck. She was real nice, y'all.

Does Danny know how to dress to pick up his Tony nom or what?
No red sneakers, jeans, gray tee shirt, exposed undershirt, tieless neck or unpressed shirt on this dashing dude!
Here is Danny, sans the curly eyebrows of Adolpho:

In the best of possible worlds, it'd be a tie between Dale and Burstein. Loved 'em both!
TT
I'm sad no one has mentioned Christian Hoff. I thought he was FANTASTIC in Jersey Boys and would be thrilled to see him walk away with it!

Danny all the way.
"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?"
I think Burstein has a better chance than Mano at this point.
I disagree, I think it's between Dale and Felciano.
