oh wow! this is so great. i seriously wish there was some way I could have seen this production. i would have paid good money for it! so mny questions those pictures raise. but I especially love how all the girls are so significantly taller than the boys! that is so 7th grade! i also have to admit i'm a little confused as to who's who....
and to those of you complaining about the non asian boys, well one of them looks "ethnic" - that counts right?!?
i also love that millie is most obviously wearing a wig...if your're buying a wig neway get the right color
Don't people understand that it is illegal to do the show unless the rights are released?? A lot of girls are going to be very lucky if they get to play Millie in a high school production of TMM? After belting out Gimme Gimme, won't they be getting the attention of all those guys?
Why is Millie 7 feet tall?
I thought this school sounded familiar, i live like 15 minutes away from this school, wow... if i knew how to do it i would be very tempted to let the royalty police know about this. thats just not cool at all.
This production looks like an absolute joke. As for the swordfighting, is the girl in black Ms. Flannery?
i'm not sure...its hard to locate muzzy too
well, if it says anything, some of the other plays that they have pictures up for are Zombie Prom and a horrible looking production of Chess

Come on guys...they're in seventh grade! You can't compare a middle school production with a high school show!
Of course they were sword fighting. I think this was the same school that added the abortion scene when they did AIDA last spring.
I understand it is only a middle school production, but it does look, um, lame, lol. Our town is Cheapo City, but even the middle school musical looked better than that! LOL. Had there not been a title, I would have never guessed it was Millie.

lol Yes it definately does! Luckily my middle school didn't do a musical so I don't have any embarrassing video footage! :)
So that is where that AIDA abortion rumor came from? Maybe it was here where I heard someone said her friend wouldn't see AIDA because of an abortion in it which isn't true... =)
It's shows like this that make me wonder why they license them out to middle schools to begin with.
That show was not licensed out to a middle school.
Millie, Yeah that was what I was referring to! That ridiculous girl that said she wouldn't see it. LOL
Yes, I remember that. Let me guess, are they going to do Urinetown next? Maybe there will be a love triangle between Penny, Bobby and Hope...
Don't be silly. Next season Pinewood Middle School will be performing

Watch, some members of that cast of millie are posters or lurkers on this board and are crying now because of our comments. For shame!
Are you kidding me? =P
It's 1:30 in the morning. The cast of that production of MILLIE should be in bed. If they're not, than they're just up late looking at porn.
That cast deserves to cry. Their production was shameful.
"I met Jimmy today...what a hunk! We talked and learned that we share lots of thing in common: original cast recordings, Barbara Streisand, Bravo. It's gonna be cool...I'm gonna make him love me!"
Oh god...that's so funny. And so true. Ask any musical theater gal!
when i did annie i was the only straight guy in the principal cast...ironically also the only one without a girlfriend
jonart - That's so true these days.
