The 2004 concert staging of Candide, starring Kristin Chenoweth and Patti Lupone will be broadcast on PBS in the New Year!!Great news for us who wern't able to see it at the Avery fisher Hall last week!

It will probably be during a pledge drive ( 15 minutes of Candide & 15 minutes of asking for money ) I will wait for the DVD

Roxy, i've always wondered why they always show the good stuff during pledge drives... I understand the need for the drives but, I'd be more apt to give them money if they showed these kinds of programs more often and without interruption...

Lapone was brilliant, the entire production will be worth the wait.It's a keeper!
