I wonder if we have any of the Scaryotype shirts left to send to roscoe!
Seriously, if there is anyone with an extra Scaryotype shirt I would LOVE to get one for my daughter.

I watched this on OnDemand and I thought it was absolutely BRILLIANT!
My opinion: In The Heights and Passing Strange should've tied for Best Score.
As previously stated on another thread... I watched it On Demand last week and can't remember when I've disliked a show and its music more. I was really looking forward to it, but I found it pretentious, indulgent, grating and boring. BTW... I watched it in high-def on a 52" set in surround sound. I can't imagine having enjoyed it any more had I seen it performed live. I'm glad I didn't waste my time or money seeing the Broadway production.
I had front row tix for the week after it closed, and boy, was I disappointed!
Last week I found the time to watch PS on PPV. I simply could not get into it -- whatsoever. Maybe I was too tired, maybe I was too distracted.
I was considering trying again....but not sure if it would make a difference.

We don't need your opinion on every thread. Once is enough, thank you.

I just watched it on demand and I thought it was flat-out BRILLIANT! It was so beautiful and moving and touching. I really connected with it, so maybe for those of you who didn't like it, you just didn't quite connect with it, which isn't a bad thing. I just could totally relate to certain aspects of it, and I found the whole thing to be so moving. The lyrics were thoughtful and intelligent, the music was beautiful when it needed to be and harsh at other times, and the direction and design elements were both stunning and simple. I just really enjoyed it, and I'm blown away by it. I can't believe "In The Heights" won over that. Ugh!

It's been extended another week -- at least through the 14th. If you see it at IFC (my recommendation) -- sit in the middle -- the sound is even better. You'll catch harmonies and lines that didn't come across on the album or in the live performances.
