Posted: 4/20/05 at 5:32pmI hope she gets to originate a role soon. I wonder if casting directors just don't know what to do with her. Again, BAbe in Pajama Game would be perfect for her.

Posted: 4/20/05 at 5:41pmIs "Pajama Game" the same as the Doris Day movie? Not really a fan of Doris Day movies, but I'd go just to see Carolee. Hell, I'd show up to see her in anything!

Pajama Game was produced on stage, and then produced as a Movie with all of the Original Cast except Janis Paige who was replaced by Day. I believe Frank Sinatra was supposed to play the John Raitt role, but turned it down, so Raitt got to repeat his stage duties, but Paige, who was to be in the film, got bumped for Day, as they wanted at least one "name" attached to the film.

Posted: 4/20/05 at 6:04pmI have always loved her. She has been one of my favorites from the J&H days. To hear her and Linda soar on In His Eyes is one of my favorite things in the world.

Posted: 4/20/05 at 6:50pmI actually need to buy that Jekyll and Hyde recording with Carolee. I'm not a big fan of that score, but the though of Eder and Carmello together is exciting indeed.
