None of the cast and crew is reading this...why wish them luck - this is a waste of a post.

Play nice, you.
I had no idea they were going to LA. I was sad that the show didn't last longer... I adore Tony Kushner. Oh well... hopefully it's well-recieved out there.

How would you know who is reading this board?

However, your reply to the post wasn't a waste of a post at all.

First of all, unless that is a known fact, don't even say tell me that nobody from the cast and crew lurks here. MANY members here are in the business of professional theatre. Second, your post was "a waste of a post." It is not smart to be an asshole to someone who is being nice and supportive...

I was saying it to be sarcastic. I love getting strong reactions from people. It was like when I said I hated jesus the other night - I got about 19 PMs about it. It's great.

Wow that's cool. I hadn't even heard about it!

I have my tix to Tonya Pinkins singing in the Allen Room (F.P.Rose Hall) celebrating Harold Arlen for one night only in February 2005.
Do you?
Do you?

Tonya Pinkins was robbed of a Tony this past year. I'm still pissed about it.

I don't think so...you just do not want everyone to attack you, so it was "sarcastic." There is a difference between being sarcastic and a complete idiot.

Hey BwayTheatre11 - you're completely right YOU CAUGHT ME! I have so much to prove to the other people on this board that I would make up a lie that I was kidding as to not ruin my reputation. You're completely right!
Example of me being sarcastic: Wicked is really good.
Example of me being a complete idiot: BwayTheatre11, you're a ****.

Ok, that is fine. Your sarcasm was a little too nasty...be careful. That was extremely rude and uncalled for.

Oh, and if you haven't heard this already, did I mention that I originally turned my nose up at the idea of CAROLINE, only to see it, and to hear it, and to fall in love with it?
This is one beautiful, theatrical and exciting musical.
If you see one musical in 2005, CAROLINE should be it.
Or in 2006, or in 2007, or in 2008, or in 2009, or in....

Caroline is good, but it's a bit too stylized for me. The only thing I really liked about it was Tonya's amazing performance - the music is pretty bad, and I would completely disagree with you when you say it's the one show you should see this year. I like that you didn't say wicked though, so that's a plus. It's a shame it closed so early, it's a shame Tonya didn't win the award, but I don't think it's ever going to find an audience - it's just not that good.

Who cares if it's too stylized for you? What an absolute waste of a post.
