The Los Angeles run of Caroline, or Change begins today, November 6th. Tonya Pinkins and Anika Noni Rose are reprising their roles. BREAK A LEG cast and crew!

I had no idea they were going to LA. I was sad that the show didn't last longer... I adore Tony Kushner. Oh well... hopefully it's well-recieved out there.

Oh, and if you haven't heard this already, did I mention that I originally turned my nose up at the idea of CAROLINE, only to see it, and to hear it, and to fall in love with it?
This is one beautiful, theatrical and exciting musical.
If you see one musical in 2005, CAROLINE should be it.
Or in 2006, or in 2007, or in 2008, or in 2009, or in....

The only thing I really liked about it was Tonya's amazing performance - the music is pretty bad, and I would completely disagree with you when you say it's the one show you should see this year. I like that you didn't say wicked though, so that's a plus. It's a shame it closed so early, it's a shame Tonya didn't win the award, but I don't think it's ever going to find an audience - it's just not that good.
