(I should add, I have to do a bit of lip reading (I’ve sadly lost most of my hearing in one ear over the last few years) and I wrote to TodayTix about my concerns and they helped me secure Seats that would work. (Im fine in front mezz there). Basically, don’t be afraid to say you’re concerned about being able to actually see or hear the show based on something out of your control.
Though our theatres don’t quite offer the accessibility rates that UK venues do (seeing theatre there is a real joy for me haha), TodayTix seems to be trying. And while your height might not be considered a disability by law, I think they’d seriously consider your concern about that ridiculous bar.
