My husband wants to see either Carousel or My Fair Lady. He likes a spectacle and a more traditional musical; The King and I revival was right up his alley. I could throw in the choice of Hello, Dolly! too. Unfortunately, we can only see one, so must choose.
Any thoughts?

There was a thread asking this same question not too long ago!: https://forum.broadwayworld.com/readmessage.php?thread=1106100
My vote is My Fair Lady. Bart Sher and the team at Lincoln Center are a surefire bet for something huge and iconic.
Edit: But if you say you haven't seen Hello, Dolly! yet either, don't miss that one. A truly glorious production.

Thanks! I had used the search feature on the forum, but it didn't pull up the thread for me.
My husband's first reaction was for MFL, but I want to make sure we consider all choices as this will be our one NYC trip this year.

Between those 2 - My Fair Lady. Then Dolly, then Carousel. That doesn't imply I think Carousel won't be wonderful, but if he really wants the spectacle, go for either the other two

Go with My Fair Lady! A production of that all-time classic directed by Bartlett Sher already sounds like a must-see to me. Though if you go with Hello, Dolly!, you definitely won't regret it.
