I believe Jeremy Piven would make an excellent Mercury-tio.

Jordan, don't you think it'd be better having the three Billys rotate? they can add a ballet for Romeo, to accompany the balcony scene.

and I think Sarah Brightman would make a MUCH better Nurse than Sutton Foster.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain. -Kad

ANYONE WHO SAYS PHYLICIA RASHAD CAN'T BE JULIET IS A RACIST! It's theater, people. Christ, can't you suspend belief long enough to just enjoy a performance??

I don't think it's that. Isn't Juliet only supposed to be like 15 or something like that? This would make Romeo so much younger too.

Racism AND ageism have no place in the theater. So what if Rashad and Kulish are playing a couple in love and one is 75 and the other is 10? It's THEATER!!!!!
