Assume the top 10 had to be put in a show, current or no longer running, where would you place them. And please no nowhere because they sucks. If you don't like them just don't answer for them.
Derek- I loved his Footloose so Ren. I might be able to see him as Chris in Miss Saigon (unless he botches those high notes like he did tonight.)
Kate- Ellen in Miss Saigon
Ashley- Glinda, roxie
Max- Corny Colins, Mark in RENT
Allie- The girl from Lestat. I don't know her name.
Chad- Link, Princeton/Rod in Ave Q
Kevin- Fiyero
Kathleen- Maureen in RENT.
Austin- Link (duh), Fiyero, Mark in RENT
Laura- Glinda if she could hit the high notes or maybe Nessarose or possibly Elphie.

I kind of want to cast Kevin in Parade since he says it's his favorite. But he has yet to prove his acting chops, which that role needs. He has much too pure a voice for Danny, though.
I love the thought that all these cast-off Sandys will be replacements for Elle when Bell Bundy leaves. That's so sadly hilarious.

Don't laugh, but I think Chad would make a spectacular Mark (the "I Can Do That" guy, I mean... I hope I used the right name, anyway!) in A Chorus Line.
Chad is so my favorite. Besides Max, that is.
Added: And Laura would really make a terrific Janet in Drowsy Chaperone!

I think you mean MIKE. Mark is "the youngest dancer on the line." Some of these contestants haven't endeared themselves to me yet.

I can't see kate as Christine. I doubt she could hit those really high notes in the title song. When they did it as a group and she sang it the note was very flat.
Laura is my favorite Sandy too!

It wasn't just flat, it was weak too. Ugh.
And IIRC it wasn't that high of a note.

it was very weak, and also, that last note is a high D aboce middle E. That is crazy high. I know normally the actresses only sing a C and it's digitally altered. Kate's note was an A at best.

Christine's last note in the cadenza is an E6 natural, and they certainly don't raise it digitally. Only Emmy Rossum in the movie sang a D#6. It's a high note, but it is reachable.
I agree with you though about Kate only singing about an A5 at best.
