I sincerely don't think she's at a point in her career where's she above being an understudy or stand-by.
chenofan: YES!
little_sally: Agreed. Julia's biggest accomplishment is being nominated for a Drama Desk. She's originated one role on Broadway in a flop show (Lennon) and was a replacement in Wicked. Two Broadway credits. That's all.
Julia would be friggin fantastic in anything she does. Like someone said before, I will definately see anything if Julia does it. Hell, she could seriously be in anything and she'd be amazing.
And just because she doesn't have a big resume doesn't mean that she's not better than probably most of the people in principle roles on Broadway right now.
God knows she needs the work!
And God knows we need the ear plugs.
i highly disagree. she doesnt need to work. she is only doing the shows she wants to do and she doesnt need to do anything she dislikes, doesnt have to understudy, etc. she makes most of her money with voiceovers.
She toured with Wicked so its not like this touring thing would be a major change for her.

Kate is right, she makes her money on voiceovers. Chenofan, Mary Testa is a great idea.
