He did, but the most recent labs had Alex Brightman. Not sure if he was just a filler for Chris, though

I was just confirming Fitzgerald was apart of the development of the show

Moulin Rouge is teasing an announcement later this week.  Seems a little early, but maybe a cast announcement?  Otherwise I suppose it could be firm-ish plans for a transfer.

Mufish, can you let me know where you saw the tease for the announcement? I have been checking the MR Musical twitter account and website from time to time (and did so when I saw your post) and I did not see any announcement about an announcement! I live in Boston area and want to calibrate seat location based on casting given that the ticket pricing is fairly aggressive for a pre-Broadway tryout, on top of crazy fees, so I am ever on the alert.

The tease for the announcement was through the Emerson Colonial Theatre's Facebook page. Announcement is being made on Wednesday at noon EST. 

Hoping for a casting notice, as the Broadway transfer news is pretty much inevitable and would be incredibly anticlimactic.

Pretty sure the Unmasked lab starts today.Wonder who else will be involved besides Claybourne Elder.

 

Think the Moulin Rogue rehearsals  start in 3 weeks as does The Cher Show.I wonder who will play the other Chers with Lena out,I'm also interested in hearing on who will be playing Sonny.An actress I follow who's currently not in a show followed SJB recently and I thought she'd be a good young Cher .She wrote in her Instagram story last night joking on buying Easter gifts and that she "needs a job".Plus,I know she has something going on during the beginning of tech according to the audition notice.

 

Getting back to Moulin Rogue,I'm interested to see who's in that cast besides supposedly Olivio. Wonder if Tviet is continuing. I know that Paloma Garcia Lee and somebody from Hamilton(Stephanie Klemmons?) did the labs.

I wonder how many Alex Timbers shows we should expect next season with Moulin Rouge and Beetljuice both having tryouts and the Bobby Darin show going further into development.

If you check Paloma garcia Lee’s insta story you will see the sing where they are rehersing today cant figure out which studio though.

Looking at Pearl tags and the signs are the same format as the one in Paloma's story,All the posts/stories from today don't seem to have to do with Moulin Rogue though.

 

Edit:Just went through Paloma's old posts and Ericka Hunter and Morgan Kei(That was the Hamilton one I was thinking of) also did the labs.

After reading that audition list for Beetlejuice, and reading the description of Charles that calls for an "actor who sings," I can't stop picturing Chris Parnell making his Broadway debut.

Karen just posted a picture of her working out with the caption "let's go" tagging the woman having to do with the production again .I think it's a safe bet that she is in Moulin Rogue.

Claybourne  and David Wilson(Music Director of Love Never Dies)  just followed each other.Looks like Wilson also just followed Howard McGilllin,Jill Paice,Adrienne Walker,and Rema Webb.If they are the other actors involved with the lab,there should be 3 more since the audition notice said 8 actors.

Many, many, thanks, AllThatJazz2, for pointing me to FB (duh, should have thought of that). Because of you I had my credit card info typed in at 12 noon and was able to click buy at 12:01 as soon as announcement was made and before the Tveitertots could wreak havoc with the Colonial website. Burstein was a fantastic surprise.
