Casting rumors /announcements on upcoming out of towns

Decided to make a thread on upcoming castings on upcoming out of town tryouts. Here's what I have so far !

 

The Cher Show-Chicago

Stephanie J Block(Confirmed)

Lena Hall(Did workshops)

 

Moulin Rogue -Boston
 

Paloma Garcia Lee(Confirmed via IG story)

Karen Olivio did workshops and has tagged somebody involved with the production in her posts/stories during her gym workouts.She also writes "The road to...." often 

Aaron Tveit(Did workshops)

I believe auditions happened on February 2nd . I know of two actors that most likely auditioned .

Depending on when Moulin Rouge moves to Broadway, I'd be curious to see if Olivo actually continues with the project. She's already slated to appear in a regional production of Fun Home in fall. The rehearsals for which might conflict with Rouge.

Just added Unmasked at Papermill.I believe the lab is in April. I'm curious about that cast.

I read some thread on here about a rumor it won't come in until 2019-2020 because the same lead producer (Global Creatures) is doing King Kong and they don't want the shows to compete/conflict. Anyone know if that's true? If it is, seems like a long time to wait between Boston and Broadway.

Strange casting whatever role, maybe middle Allison's girlfriend?

He did, but the most recent labs had Alex Brightman. Not sure if he was just a filler for Chris, though

He did early workshops, but Alex Brightman just played the role in the lab that's happened this month, so he's most likely to be doing it.

Thank you! I'll add him! I keep wondering if any alumni from any ALW shows will be involved with this .Sierra Boggess wouldn't surprise me but I believe she's doing a show in Hartford during the lab.

So Butler and Pudi were the Maitlands, and the Deetzes were Leslie Kritzer, Sophie Ann Caruso and... did we get names for Charles Deetz and Otho Fenlock?

Someone at My FAiR LADY seated near me tonight was speaking to one of the creatives on the Cher project. I only overheard part of the conversation, but she said Lena Hall isn’t continuing with Cher. Sounds like she booked conflicting television work.

I know Harry Connick Jr. is doing The Sting at Papermill.

It hasn't been spoken of in a while, but there were Bat Boy revival labs with James Monroe Iglehart as Dr. Parker, Kerry Butler as Mrs. Parker, and Jeremy Jordan as Edgar/Bat Boy.

Beetlejuice is DC as well, not Arlington, FYI (National Theater, on Pennsylvania Avenue).

I was just confirming Fitzgerald was apart of the development of the show
