um, 27 days for me :) haha, yeah!
Wow, this is Constantine's last weekend. Anyone going to his last show?
I know a lot of people going on Sunday to see Constantine's last performance. Hope he gets a good reception from everyone, not just his fans. I think he proved himself to be a worthy Sammy.
He only missed a few days due to prior commitments, too. I think he has been wonderful. The cast has said how much they liked him, too.
I'm glad that Matt gets to finish the role he started, but Constantine did a fine job.

I've heard the show's been playing some nights to a crowd of 30 people.
How sad.
That cannot be true.
Even on weekday performances the orchestra is always nearly full with a few people strewn throughout the mezz.
And the weekends always sell out.

It's completely possible.
Look at it this way. The Beck/Hirschfeld seats 1422 people. In an 8 show week, that total is 11,376 seats. In its worst week post-opening, it played to 5,706 patrons in 8 shows (according to the grosses).
question, how likely am i to be able to get rush or standing room on dec 15 if i cant get to the box office til about 5? like, if rush is sold out, do u think theres a decent chance the show will sell out?
Yes, but I don't know where you're getting your reports.
I don't know if things have changed that drastically in two weeks but I've been there quite frequently (and recently) and, as I've said, the crowd hasn't been NEAR what you said.
And grosses have been steadily rising over the last few weeks, too.
If the show was playing to crowds of 30, they wouldn't keep it open another month. It's illogical.
I love how Tina screams OMIGOD when she catches the bouquet.
That is pretty funny.

That can't be possible. The orchestra is always full, and most of the mez. is somewhat scattered with people. I highly doubt there would be a crowd so small.

yeah, I doubt they would keep it open if only 30 people were in the audience. or at least they would cancel the performance!

No. . .no 30 person crowds. Never in the double-digits. This isn't Jay Johnson.
guess theres not too much wedding singer news going on this week. is/has anyone going/gone to any of the shows this weekend?
I am going tonight.

Last Tuesday night the audience wasn't all that big but the orch was still more than half full, I think. And there were definitely people in the mezzanine. The crowd was GREAT that night, though. I'd almost rather a smaller, more enthusiastic crowd than the other way around - especially since the show is closing anyway.
My favorite part about Tina catching the bouquet is when she does the Molly Shannon 'superstaaaaaar!' pose on the way out. Although I do always enjoy when she flips out so much that pieces of the bouquet start flying into the audience.
There's only one girl with golden hair. Tina Maddigan is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
