As much as I love love love Lea Salonga, I don't think she's suited for Esmeralda. Esmeralda needs to dance! I don't know if Lea would be up for that.

I'd say pretty much all of those would work for the DeYoung version too.

The theatre company that my mom works at is doing the Hunchback of Notre Dame (It is not the Disney version though. It is the one by Dennis DeYoung), and she is very close to getting one of the actresses above to play Esmeralda!!
I am very excited about that :]
