As much as I love love love Lea Salonga, I don't think she's suited for Esmeralda. Esmeralda needs to dance! I don't know if Lea would be up for that.

Just a thought, but Disney favorite Steve Blanchard could pull of Quasi. I'd much prefer Drew though.

I'd say pretty much all of those would work for the DeYoung version too.

God...his version is f-ing gorgeous.

The theatre company that my mom works at is doing the Hunchback of Notre Dame (It is not the Disney version though. It is the one by Dennis DeYoung), and she is very close to getting one of the actresses above to play Esmeralda!!

I'm thinking Mark Price would be a great Clopin. And someone mentioned Idina Menzel for Esmeralda and I find that interesting. What about Colleen Sexton?

I totally second Jenny Powers! I think she would be good. I like the idea of Eden Espinosa too. She would rock out on Someday and I think has the sass needed for the role.
