I was wondering if there were any celebrities out there who love to listen to broadway music as much as the next person. I was just wondering because today while I was scanning through television channels, I happened to see Kanye West wearing a Les Miserables sweatshirt while he was on the Elled DeGeneres show which I thought was pretty awesome.

Rosie loves it, as we all know. And Oprah's a big fan as well.
David Letterman and Regis Philbin are actually theatre-lovers as well. I once read that they each push for as many Broadway performances as they can on their shows, and they do so because they're giant fans. Good to know. :)
Rosie big time. I remember watching her bio on A and E a while ago and she said during a tough time in her life all she said to herself was " . . my name until I die be no more than an aliby, must I lie?" (LES MIS)
Star Jones also is into the NY Stage, she saw Wicked alone 4 times.
Brookes Shields is also really into the stamina of the shows and hardly ever misses a show!

Was Oprah really a big fan before The Color Purple? Sorry if that's an ignorant question, but I just wondered...
I know Jason Alexander is a huge fan. He has said that if he wasnt a devout heterosexual for his entire life he'd be sure he was gay.

Evil, I do remember her having several Broadway stars on her show on different occasions before The Color Purple. Also, she's been pictured in several opening night red carpets, such as A Raisin in the Sun and Caroline, or Change. Anyway, even so, she seems like one of those personalities who wouldn't mind a good Broadway show.
I've seen Nicole Kidman at more than a few Broadway shows. And Reese Witherspoon has expressed her love for Wicked several times.

Jake Gyllenhaal has professed a love for Sondheim, more specifically, A Little Night Music. Now there is a hollywood actor who has the right idea!

Lauren Graham has expressed her love for the stage numerous times and the fact that she is a musical theatre lover.
Katie Curic LOVES Broadway. She's a self professed RENThead and she and her daughters have seen WICKED many times.
Nicole Kidman sees just about every show on Broadway. I've personally seen Glenn Close, Sarah Jessica Parker and Jodie Foster at multiple performances.
Yeah, SJP loves musical theatre. I've seen Ben Stiller and I know people who've seen Cher at shows.
Meredith Veira, future Today show host, loves theater as well.

Dustin Hoffman was in the audience when I saw Wicked.
Don't forget, Katie's favorite show is Jersey Boys too!
So true about Marc Cherry. The titles of all of the episodes are famed Sondheim songs.
"The Ladies Who Lunch"
"Sunday in the Park with George"
Howard Stern is also somewhat of a closeted theater fan, at least with regards to Wicked. He discusses the show on his talk show a lot, but always prefaces it by saying his daughters love it. Robin usually calls him on it, though.
