I saw Ron Howard and his family at Into the Woods about 15 years ago. They came in late so people didn't realize it was him til intermission. Then people flocked him with questions and asked him to sign their playbills. I didn't think that was cool--I mean he was just out to enjoy a broadway show with his family, not to have his privacy invaded by swarming fans. Is this the price of stardom? Anyway, he was cool and professional about the whole thing. I wonder what others think about this.

On broadway I saw Ron Howard and his Wife at "The Goat". I sat next to Shirlery Maclaine, Warren Beatty, and Annette Bening at Swan Lake. Carol Burnett at a preview performance of beauty and the beast. Cyndi Lauper at Will Rogers Follies. Saw Nathan Lane. Marc Shaiman and Sharon Osbourne at different performances of Hairspray. My favorite two moments however were Katherine hepburn walking down the aisle to her seat at a preview performance of Pygmalion starring Peter Otoole and Amanda Plummer; and Barbra Streisand sitting in our row with her hubby at the taper in Los Angeles.
I saw Peter Gallagher, Camryn Manheim and Jane Krakowski at "The Rocky Horror Show".
Also for you HGTV lovers, the guy from that show "Design on a Dime" was right in front of me at The Boy from Oz. Was SO tempted to have him re-do my bedroom for less than $1,000.....
There are some people in the world who say that writing stories, or composing music or dancing sparkly dances is easy for them. Nothing interferes with their ability to create. While I celebrate their creative freedom, a little part of me just wants to punch those motherf*ckers in the teeth...[tos]
I ran into Daryll Hammond at Little Shop in April - nice guy. Kind of weird seeing him as himself!
