GYPSY-Stephen Sondheim--closing show WICKED-Raphael Sbarge (He was in "Risky Business" and is on, or was on, TV) The PRODUCERS--Roxanne Hart (Chicago Hope and B'Way) and I saw whom I believe was Bob Mackie at a Tuesday PM performance of "Wonderful Town"
I know it seems obvious but I saw Billy Joel at Movin' Out. It was last year when the musicians just got back from their strike. All of a sudden you see news cameras all over the place and in walks billy joel, who then snuck out at intermission.
"[My son]'s really into my music, but one day we were listening to Billy [Joel] in the car and he said, 'Daddy, I think Billy's songs are a little better than yours." (Michael Cavanaugh)
I saw Barbara Cook at Assassins last Friday night. Neil Patrick Harris was out and the understudy, Chris Peluso, was amazing. I also saw Hunter Foster at Millie earlier this year. He sat 2 rows behind me.
"So much of me is made of what I learned from you. You'll be with me like a handprint on my heart."-Wicked
I think they do get special treatment in every way. I doubt they call telecharge. I think their people hook them up.
Broadwaylady, you need to pull that bug out of your ass and lighten up when someone makes a joke or you're gonna be a boring person. It's just a message board.

I was seated next to Annette O-Toole at Hairspray. I ran into her and Michael Mckean at Virhin Mega the next day and she TOTALLY remembered me from the show.

of breaths we take, but by moments
that take our breath away."
"Life isn't about how to survive the storm,
but how to dance in the rain."

I've seen Mayor Rudy G. at DOTV, Cynthia Nixon at Gypsy, and Jerry Stiller at Wicked. Did not approach. Probably don't really count but I also saw Tom Meehan and Don Black at Bombay Dreams and Jeff Marx at Q. Did approach. Nice guys. Very patient with nuts like me.
Saw a lot of celebs at the Wicked opening night show. ...Star Jones, Kathie Lee and Frank Gifford, Kristen Johnsten, Edie Falco, Stanley Tucci, Carol Burnett, Jerry Orbach, Jennifer Grey, and a lot more...
Billy Joel and Kristen Johnson at "Hairspray." Apparently, Kirsten Dunst and Jack Gyllenhaal were at the same performance of "Gypsy" that I was.

I don't know if this really counts, but I got a pic with Harriet Harris and Chris Sieber @ Millie.
Also, this was on the street. I took a random pic of the Marquis Theater. When I got it developed, I noticed in the pic a guy with glasses in a beige/tan overcoat and an SNL hat, talking on a cell phone. He kind of looked like Richard Gere.
