Character Song HELP!!!! (RHS)

Hello,

I'm looking for 16 bars of a "character song" for Rocky Horror Show auditions.

I am a soprano with a lower belt (only to a B right below high C)... and I'm just wanting to get INTO the dang show, so if you could please help I would be most thankful.

"Lovely" from Forum is the ideal character soprano song, but for Rocky horror, you should do something beltier.

try something from Little Shop of Horrors ("Somewhere That's Green", "Little Shop of Horrors") or The Wedding Singer. ("Someday", "Pop", "A Letter from Linda/Grandma")

Wedding Singer is a little too recent...

I wanted to do "There Are Worse Things I Could Do"... but I don't really think that's a character song! Bummer

If it helps (slight desperation), if I had to pick anyone besides a Phantom in this show I'd want to be Columbia...

How about "Gypsy Strip (Let Me Entertain You)"? Would that count?
