re: Characters We Resemble: Does Art Imitate Life?

Elphaba- At my old school, it was hell because of me being who I was, and being in a small minded place. I ws ALWAYS teased because, of how I was obviously, I ws my self and wasnt afrade to be my self. Thank God I'm not there any more, I'm now at a VERY open minded shool with MUCH better ppl. At this point in my life, granted there is A LOT of drama in my life, I'm DEFYIBG GRAVITY!

G(a)linda- I'm deitsy usually, so...nuff said.

Millie- I live in a small town, and dream just like her

Maureen- TO THE STAGE!(diva!)

Funny, all mine are girls. Comes to show ya, most male roles SUCK! well, IMO anyways.hehe!

The Witch in Into the Woods. I'm very cynical, which works both ways for me. I'm not a bad person, but I say what is right though it isn't always what people want or will listen to. I think I have a bit of a Mamma Rose streak in me too. It especially comes out during the monologue before Rose's Turn. I'm like "Oh god I hope I'm not like this when I get older".

I know I'm young and all, but I can definatly relate to Jonathan from Tick..Tick..BOOM! I don't know, he is just like what I want to be, and how I feel, and what I am.

Ruth Sherwood, most definitely. I can never shut up, and I say the stupidest things to guys without realizing I've said them.

A little Billy Flynn as well, because I'm pretty good at convincing people of stuff that's farthest from the truth.

Hmmm....a lot of my friends think I resemble a mix of Mark and Roger (from Rent) because of the whole striving artist type of thing, Elphaba (Wicked) because sometimes whenever I try to help out and just wanna do something good, it turns out not so great, and Penny (from Hairspray) because I can be extremely ditsy sometimes. Actually, most of the time. Ok ok, ALL the time.
Yes, I'm pinay. And I'm proud of it!

Well I'm Eponine, besides the part of the wicked family I'm just like her... the first time I listened to "On my own" I thought:"Gosh, that's me!" and from what I know about Avenue Q (I only listened to the cd) I think that I'm like Kate monster... I totally recognise myself into her songs...

I'm a lot of the Green Girl...

I also have a lot in common with Aldonza in Man of La Mancha. She is trying so hard for Don Q to listen to her and see her as she sees herself. In that way she finds herself. I go around like that with people who don't want to see my bad side.

More Green Girl...

I have and always will be a Belle from B&B. I am stuck in a slob-hole of a city with nothing for me but science classes when I really want to be something bigger. Also people think I'm really wierd for my different passions (which are so different from most teenagers).

Still more of the Green Girl...
