This is his official list of shows. Scroll down to "S". Was it...THAT Star Wars? Does anyone know anything about this? Whatever it was, it was unproduced.

I've heard a few of the songs. "Han's Your Man," was one of them. They're pretty awful. It's hard to tell whether it's supposed to be serious or spoofy.

The site lists Marty as being produced on Broadway in 2005. I wonder if the site was put together in 2004 with high hopes and hasn't been updated since.
Hmmm...Every time I see this discussed, I keep remembering watching Bill Murray singing "Star Wars...nothing by Star Wars" in his Saturday Night Live Lounge Singer skit.
The show was never fully produced. I think it had a concert version done at some point, but that was it. Chuck Wagner played Han Solo!

There is one song somewhere online available to listen to, "Han's your Man" which is a bit odd, still in a freaky way catchy.
Gotta add: It's still great that a Charles Strouse website is available at all. It would be even better to have pages of Cy Coleman and pro's like these as well.

Interesting. It seems like things are always hit-or-miss with Strause. Enormous, big, hit productions and then stuff that nobody has ever heard about.
I am so curious about this, as on the Charles Strouse page currently there's no reference of it at all. What's the deal with this project? Was there a concert? If so, does audio/video exist? Was this ever intended to be staged?
Might be cool if Disney licensed this to schools.

And in another strange twist, the orchestrations were done by Jason Robert Brown!
How about a chorus line of high kicking Darth Vaders or Yodas ala Young Frankenstein?
Broadway.com had an article about this a few weeks ago with more information.
