I think he has a pretty big part!! I know Roger Bart won the Tony for YAGMCB as Snoopy. Have a blast!!!!!!!!

And the other thing about the Phantom Lady was, Bert, she realized, in the city that never sleeps... What did she realize, Kitten? That all the songs she'd listened to, all the love songs, that they were only songs. What's wrong with that? Nothing, if you don't believe in them. But she did, you see. She believed in enchanted evenings, and she believed that a small cloud passed overhead and cried down on a flower bed, and she even believed there was breakfast to be had... Where? On Pluto. The mysterious, icy wastes of Pluto.

If it's following the same line as the Bway Revival, Snoopy has a Red Barron little sketch thing too..He's in a lot of the songs, 2 of his own, on stage..

yeah, and it is really interesting to listen to the original AND revival CDs...and Of course, I loved the rivival interpretation and direction!! Well, Snoopy is everywhere but the Suppertime is one of the hightlights!! (on the last day on Broadway (?), Roger Bart reprised the last part of "Suppertime." was cool). Good l....Oops, Break a leg!

Geek fact...I am using the lyric of "Happiness" for the screen saver of my PC & Mac...and made that for my cell phone's ringing tone...(sorry, off topic). Just to see a piece of it, you can watch 1999 Tony Awards show.

"Happiness" is one of the ringtones on my phone, too! And "Snoopy", of course re: Charlie Brown.

I've played Snoopy. If you have any questions, PM me!

I did a lot of research for the character, honestly. I researched Snoopy's origins, how he was developed, his mannerisms, the ways he stood, the ways he walked, the ways he lay down on his doghouse, everything. I was obsessed with Snoopy for weeks! But then again, I do excessive research for every role I do, so it was pretty normal to me.

I'm currently doing the role, as well, so feel free to send a PM my way.

As for the question regarding what songs Snoopy makes an appearance in:

Overture/You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown
Snoopy
My Blanket and Me
Beethoven Day
Chasing Rabbits
The Book Report
The Red Baron
T-E-A-M
Glee Club Rehearsal
Suppertime
Happiness
Bows

I am in love with the show, Snoopy rox. You'll get to go up on a dog house and everything :). If I was a guy, I'd love to be Snoopy, lol, but I'd love love love to be Sally Brown. *hums to self*

A most ingenious paradox.

Its a fun part. I did it not long ago. The big thing is to have fun. The added some music to supper time and had me break danceing. And during the red barron... I miss that part. I miss doing that show. you will have a good time. And now to answer your question, It is a big part, or I think so.

Am I THAT old? I was the first guy to EVER play Woodstock in Snoopy......YEARS AGO! It was the first time a non-equity cast had done it and I kept getting told, "The same girl played it in NY, SF, and LA, and you are the first guy to play it..."

Guess that proves how big of a fag I am.

I remember Suppertime being from "Snoopy", but then again, age and other items have fogged my memory...

Just have fun with the role. Snoopy is FUN if nothing else!

It's SUCH a cute and heartwarming show, and Snoopy is an absolutely adorable role. The singing isn't as major - the importance is in the STAGE PRESENCE. Just Have FUN!!!!

It's such a great show, i actually just auditioned for Lucy last week- keep your fingers crossed for me?

Snoopy is an awesome part, the two main songs he sings are so funny..i swear on my life my dog thinks that way..like in the song Snoopy he's all chill..and then he's like "I Feel like every now and then that i gotta bite someone!!" and starts belting out opera notes..aah its just great..good luck with that i'm sure you'll do awesome

"No two shows are alike in the making. Each show is a living piece of your life in a small unreal world with its own character and integrity; its own new set of memorable experiences and incredible happenings. You begin to love and adapt to its strangeness. Dreams harden into substance. Values come into focus. You wish it would never end. The dream world vanishes like mist before a rising sun; part of you vanishes with it. And back you land in the real world with a thud- fogged, uneasy, jittery, difficult to get along with. There is only one cure. A new show. A new, small unreal world; new visions, experiences, incredible happenings. Again you love it, adapt to it, wish it would never end. But end it does. Another part of you vanishes. That's show business."-Anonymous
