re: How old were you when you lost your Broadway virginity?

Aug 28, 2006 — 1:26:25 AM

I was 7 years old and I had just gotten out of the hospital from a massive athsma attack. I saw the revival of the King and I. I remember thinking "I could totally be one of those kids" and have had the theater bug ever since.

re: Favorite Broadway Love Song

Apr 1, 2006 — 3:48:22 PM

Hmm.. at the moment "Love to Me", "Say It Somehow"-Light in the Piazza "The Next Ten Minutes"-The Last 5 Years "Johanna"-Sweeney Todd "Unworthy of Your Love"-Assassins (leave it to sondheim to make one of his few love songs incredibly unconventional and creepy) "Unlikely Lovers"-Falsettoland..well it's not just about love, but it's one of my favorite songs of all time "Not A Day Goes By"-Merrily We Roll Along. i know this song is overrecorded to death. but i still love it

"Hi!" "Dreadful!" "Fabulous!" I completely feel your pain. And agree that we have a right to be bitter with Broadway being more Mickey Mouse-i-fied every day

re: Best ALW movie?

Apr 1, 2006 — 3:35:53 PM

re: RENT did what?!

Mar 23, 2006 — 12:55:28 PM

"And most of the themes in RENT, if not all, have been in Broadway musicals before." yes, but its like what harvey fierstein said about la cage aux folles- there had obviously been broadway shows about homosexuality before, but they weren't nearly as popular or successful

re: I need your guys help!!!

Mar 23, 2006 — 9:35:08 AM
