Just saw a trailer for the movie. This is the one that, I have read non-stop, Kristin is the co-star with Benning.

Unless they cut her out of the movie entirely, she doesn't even have a walk on.

According to imdb.com she is playing Fern. And unless they changed the role drastically from the book...Fern is in it for not really that much as a Preacher's Wife who has an affair with Annette Benning (Deirdre). But it isn't really a CO-STARRING role because the movie...well you've seen the trailer...

She is in it according to movie pages-she plays a character called Fern.

Just because she doesn't appear in the trailer (does she, as a person, even have the "power" to be in the trailer?) doesn't mean she isn't in the movie.

And there's a thread on this movie already, including Cheno.

First up, Fiction..the supposed thread on this isn't in the first 100 threads of this board. Unlike others, I do check.

Secondly, I'm not disputing that she's in the movie. Everything that I read always called her the 'co-star" of the movie. It obviously is a cameo role. Does Cheno's people need to lie?

Whether the role is a leading role, a walk on or an extra, they are all co-stars.

They're all co-stars? Yeah, right. A co-star is someone with a signifigant role in a movie..not a walk on or cameo. Chenoweth is in no way a "co star". Her PR obviously blew it up to maker her something more than she is.

Some people really don't know the business but act like they do.

It's an ensemble piece with the exception of the Augusten character. He is one of my favorite writers and I cannot wait for this movie. Who cares what the size of her role is? I don't think she's had a "co-starring" "starring" role yet. She's a character actress so you can't expect her to have huge roles.

it was the same for pink panther they kept giving hipe about how she had a big part then she wasnt in the trailer and had the tiniest role in the movie

Again, I say, we're not here to debate her merits as a "lead" or "cameo" but rather the fact that her people keep saying she's the "co-star" when the girl aint'. Even in show biz, there's only so much false advertising one can take.

It's not a major role. The character wasn't major in the book and (It has been a while since I read it) She doesn't appear until halfway through the book. Matbe even during the last quarter.

RentBoy86, he is one of my favorites also. Got to meet him at a signing. I am sure you know he is working on the Christmas book. Can't wait for that!

RentBoy, Possible Side Effects is out. I haven't read it yet but need to before the Christmas book.
