..."hopefully" with the rest of the cast from the US production too. Nice. Is this news? Jones says it will happen "next year" in this interview, published on 1/1/16, by which I think she meant 2016.

I hope they'll bring it to London as well

I saw this too and am so happy this production will have another life! Wish I could see it again.
I haven't been able to find any other information about this other than this article. Hopefully we'll get more details soon!

Don't hold your breath for Zachary Quinto to return. This was possibly the best production of this show, and I'd love to see all four of them pick the show back up.

When I sat in the sunken lounge section onstage at the ART over the weekend for Natasha & Pierre I realized I would have been in the black goo from Menagerie if it hadn't been drained.

Quinto and Smith are more likely to return than Keenan-Bolger, who seems to have scaled back her acting schedule since having a child.

I wondered about Celia and her baby. It seems too soon to head overseas for a three month gig.
I would think Brian J Smith would be the most likely to return. It's hard to imagine a different group of actors in that production.

I realize I'm in the minority, but I wasn't crazy about Quinto or Keenan-Bolger. Jones and Smith were perfection. That said, Quinto seemed pretty dedicated to this production and unless he has a significantly better offer, I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that he might commit to a short return engagement.

LarryD2, I understand about Quinto. If I HAD to pick a flaw, he would be it though I can still justify his performance. I did love Keenan-Bolger. Cherry Jones had the strongest personal impact on me, but Smith opened up something in that role that redefined it. I will forever remember being in the theatre watching the Gentleman Caller scene.
I'm excited to see what comes of this!

I saw this at ART and would love to see it again. However, a trip to Dublin is highly unlikely, so I am crossing my fingers and hoping that they do one of those worldwide digital broadcasts that are so frequently done over in the UK.

Me too! That would be wonderful!

When this production was on Broadway, I really enjoyed the production itself and the cast, but guess what part I hated: Cherry Jones. I know I am in the complete minority on this, but I sincerely felt that she overacted and her performance just really annoyed me. I wish they had gotten someone else for the part. She just didn't feel real to me.

bfreak,I felt that way about Quinto. I thought Cherry Jones's Amanda was appropriately exuberant and over the top. Watching her resilient animation made her struggle and longing all the more heartbreaking for me. When I saw glimpses of the little girl inside it made her performance very moving. But that's just me!

I completely respect that and could understand why you liked it. Like I said, it just wasn't for me. I felt Quinto was fine.

For the record, I did like Quinto!
The different ways people react to performances is interesting to me. I wonder how I'd feel if I saw the show again. Though unlikely, I'm hoping the full cast reunites and they do stream the show or film it. Maybe I'll just have to head over to the Lincoln Center archives. Haha
