Intresting cast choice if it's true. "Chicago" is a staple to Broadway and I like it very musch, but seeing this made me sad, "CHICAGO will reach yet another major milestone when it becomes the sixth-longest running production in Broadway history, surpassing Beauty and the Beast with a total of 5,462 performances."

Millie, because they BWW article didn't specify which role, I originally had assumed she was going in for Velma since she can dance. But now that I read the People link, I am a little puzzled that she's going in for Roxie. Hm, this is interesting.

I actually got my facts confused. When it was running "Beauty and the Beast" was the CURRENT longest running American musical of all time. The original production "A Chorus Line" had 600 more performaces than "Beauty & the Beast."
