This article mentioned him in Xanadu until July, however it didn't state what he will be doing after then. Does anyone here know?
I hope he's doing me after Xanadu.
When I first heard Cheyenne talk on the ALL SHOOK UP video, I thought he was very full of himself. I still do. But, I heard he is a nice guy.
I picked up a copy today. The article was great and the pictures were...really something. But I must say, it did kind of annoy me that from the interview he seemed to say that he wants people to see him as a talented actor and performer whether or not he's gay (and god knows he is), but his sexuality was pretty much the only thing the article actually talked about.
I asked this before with no responses:

I don't think he has anything specific lined up, Steve. I think his XANADU contract is up in July, which is why it states he is with the show until then.
Nothing that we know of (yet) but you could check here for updates...

Thanks for the update. Maybe if nothing is lined up, he will extend a while longer.
dalefully- This was an interview for THE ADVOCATE! Of course the article is going to be about his sexuality, and he even acknowledged that in the beginning.
His point was that when he is interviewed for non-gay publications he would like to talk about his career, not JUST his sexuality. He wants to be known for his art, not his personal life.
Dr. Theater- Cheyenne is actually very nice in person...he does not seem to be "full of himself' to me, specially if you meet him in person... he is very down to earth guy!

Just wanted to mention that the Universal News at 234 West 42nd has about 15 copies of Cheyenne's issue.
(They are notoriously late on getting their gay mags on the newsstand, but it works for us who missed the boat the first time around!)
PS Bought an extra copy for anyone out of NY that might want one.

I'll second Jay*'s comment. Cheyenne couldn't be more gracious, seems interested in what his fans have to say, is more than willing to pose for pictures, sign programs and other memorabilia. He always flashes that incredible smile at everyone and his presence really puts a great glow on 44th Street.
