I plug this guy all the time and I have no idea why he's not a big star yet...but he's getting there! And I honestly feel sorry for him sometimes because people write him off as another pretty chorus boy since he's so attractive...seriously, though, his talent (and personality, if you talk to him for more than about thirty seconds) outshines his physical appearance BY FAR!

OOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH Dawggie Doo, I am so flattered that your sole purpose as "Dawg" is to come around for the single reason to refute and bash me, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Rally, it does! I forgot that again, this is the cult of Broadwayworld and to step outside of the circle gets you a shock treatment. And Dawgie baby, it has nothing to do with "doing it better, myself", but for a hundred bucks, ya gotta be a bit more than just eye candy. How many times do I have to say this exact line till you get over me? But I love ya right back buddy.

Al is right...eye candy just isn't gonna do it.

Dawg...there absolutely IS an arguement against Creel, and I think I said it before. Sure the guy can sing, but he's not much of an actor.

I honestly believe that most of the guys mentioned would not be nearly as loved if they didn't have their looks. Talented? Sure...a little bit...but there are so many more talented people out there.

...I agree with you Al. And Cheyenne is more than "a bit of eye candy". I saw him in AIDA, it was very unexpected that he was going on(found out later he got a call to go on about 30 mins before the show was set to start), and before this performance I have never heard of him. I was very disappointed to hear that Adam was out with his first week back in AIDA.

While I agree that Adam Pascal is eye candy and ISNT everybody's cup of tea, but I do stand up and challege anyone to say that Cheyenne is not talented. Because from what i saw in that performance he was a talented singer and actor.

I am not a Manley fan either! Never was...I admit, he WAS a good Roger (had that all angst thing down well, but I think it was due to the fact that he didn't want to be on stage) but I didn't enjoy him in RENT at all. I hope you get to catch Cheyenne in All Shook Up, too! :)

Sutton, Gavin AND Cheyenne all back on Broadway this winter? This is great news!

Anyway, Cheyenne is an excellent Radames...I'm a huge Adam Pascal fan so that's saying a lot coming from me.

Agreed. The big difference between Adam and Cheyenne is that Adam has a very unique style about him - which i love. But it isnt for everyone and you either love it or hate it. Cheyenne has more traditional talent yet still makes roles his own. There is no denying that he is good.
