and in 23 weeks it'll pass A Chorus Line to become the 4th longest.
and in just less than two years(90 weeks to be exact) it'll pass Les Miserables to become the 3rd longest.
and in just under four years(191 weeks) it'll pass Cats to become the second longest.
and if Phantom of the Opera closed this week, it would take just under 9 years to become the longest running show.
Chicago passes Oh! Calcutta to become 5th longest Broadway show

A little birdie told me that Bianca Marroquin recently auditioned for a role in the upcoming revival of "Evita". Perhaps as the understudy to Elena Roger (Evita)? Good luck to B. M.! from RC in Austin, Texas

"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

It's not a show that I like or ever want to see again (I hate minimal staging) but congrats to its success. Unlike some people on here, I wish all shows all the best when they achieve a milestone, even the ones I dont like.

If Liza Minnelli took on the role of Matron Mama Morton, the production's box office figures would be amazing. Here's to many more years of CHICAGO on Broadway and around the world!
