I am very ashamed to admit I've never seen "Chicago"... but after reading some of the recent posts about Marti Pellow, etc., I'm ready to go. Are the best seats are in the front mezzanine or center orchestra? Help!

Personally, I enjoy sitting as close as humanly possible for Chicago... but if you've never seen it, I'd go farther back so you can soak in the entire stage and show.

The first time I saw it, I was about 6th or 7th row. I'd say thats pretty good for a first time. Any subsequent times however, I agree with CJR, as close as possible.
I've sat in both Mezz and Orchestra. and Orchestra is def. better. You really feel apart of the show, so close up. Def. try for Orchestra.

I'm going on how many times I've seen the show.. I enjoy being up close because of the audience interaction (it's not huge, dont go there expecting it), but you do miss some things sitting way up close.

I guess the Orchestra is where I will be. Thank you all sooooo much! And I'll be sure to give my full report after the show, if it's OK?

CJR, only the 354584321th time? I was sure it was 354584322.

Marti`s fans in the UK want every review going on him LOL
As yet, I haven't been to the Broadway production of Chicago, although this is due to be rectified within the next month - & I can't wait !
There is one thing which puzzles me about the Ambassador Theatre seating plan though, maybe some of you who have been can clear this up.
According to the viewable seating plan on Telecharge the orchestra stalls at the front show rows AA, BB etc. etc. However, when you book tickets on Telecharge it quotes row BB as being 'first row by stage'. Am I correct in assuming then that AA doesn't exist, isn't used or is it just not available over the internet ?
Thanks for any help.

Here is a picture of Sutton Foster in the mezzanine at the Marquis Theater. Every theater is different, but the distance from the stage would probably be similar. This is why I prefer the orchestra.
