Try as I might, I do not get why this is the current pricing scale for Chicago...
For performances May 24 - September 7:
Orchestra & Front Mezzanine: $126.50
Rear Mezzanine (Rows A-D): $94.00
Rear Mezzanine (Rows E-G): $84.00
Rear Mezzanine (Rows H-K): $64.00
Thursday evenings:
Orchestra & Front Mezzanine: $131.50
Rear Mezzanine (Rows A-D): $99.00
Rear Mezzanine (Rows E-G): $89.00
Rear Mezzanine (Rows H-K): $69.00
Anyone? Anyone?

Chicago is experimenting with dynamic pricing, where performances that are more in demand cost more- sort of like airline flights.
I guess there is a high demand for Thursday evening performances, so it costs more.
I can't imagine that Thursday performances are more in demand than Friday-Sunday performances, which are cheaper.
Maybe Thursday nights is when the cast offers lap dances?

That's weird.
Also, am I the only person who consistently forgets that "Chicago" is even still open until somebody brings it up on this board?
I guess the extra money is to pay the girl handing out flyers to it in Times Square today. In retrospect, it is cheaper than a TV ad but how much business it brings in is debatable.

People still pay full price for this? There's always a discount code and it's always on TKTS...

It seems like Wednesday is the day to go to movies, theaters and restaurants. They seem so empty then. I guess Thursday is busier because some people like long weekends.
