This is awesome news! One of my favorite theatre persons is Natascia Diaz. She's getting her chance with her dream role of "Velma Kelly" in the musical Chicago. I may have to take a trip to St. Louis. from RC in Austin, Texas

I was surprised that a female was cast in the role of Mary Sunshine. Usually, a male soprano is cast. Interesting...from RC in Austin, Texas

Posted: 5/19/12 at 9:57pmIt should be an interesting production. With the size of the Muny stage I would imagine they are going to go more towards the spectacle and feel of the original production, as opposed to the stripped down direction and design of the current revival.
