Hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone can share their experiences rushing shows on Christmas Day. I really want to see The Color Purple, but I am currently on a tight budget so I would like to try to get a rush ticket. TKTS would be my next option, but since it's closing soon I think it will not be 50% off. Would rush be a bit easier on Christmas Day? I have an option of going Sunday (Christmas) or Monday, and just wanted to know if the line would be a bit less crazy on the holiday. Possibly - but its a crazy busy week for bway. Get there early and bundle up. Enjoy the show, it'll be worth every cold minute of waiting.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

Thanks for the responses. I assume standing room tickets will only be sold if the show is completely sold out?
