I haven't seen this yet, should I really see this before it closes? Would I regret it if I didn't?
I am also very glad I have seen it.
If you want to be able to say you saw one of Broadway's best dancers ever live, then see it. But if you don't have an interest in this legend all the legendary work she has been part of, don't see it - because you may be bored - if you don't have interest in people like Bob Fosse, Gwen Verdon, Jerome Robbins, Etc etc etc.
Sad to see Chita close anytime, However, Almost a year away from a tour gives her a chance to dump the Director and the book Writer and - possibly, bring in a team who could write and direct her in a show fit for her talent. Maybe in a year she will be in a tour, but of a NEW show headed back to Broadway. That would be nice!
i was so saddened to see that this was closing. I was planning to go towards the end of the month. I was just enthralled by Chita from the minute I saw her in NINE. I would watch her in anything.

Jimmirae, if this was any musical, you'd be right. But this is Chita Rivera's show and I'm sure she wouldn't just dump Graciela Danielle and McNally like that. So yes, they might tweak the show a little, but I doubt it will be a NEW show.
If there is no tour I will never get to see it.
No revival-duh.
real shame
ditto hilary.
When the book is written on why this show flopped two names will be there:
Graciela Danielle AND McNally.

I agree, we'll have to wait for "Not Since Carrie-Part Two" for that, Jimmirae.

i wish i got a chance to see it!
Honey, ya got over a year to save up enough money to see it anywhere it is playing!
