foster, there are awards for doing and acheiving everything Chita has achieved. and she's gotten quite a few of them.

Posted: 1/28/06 at 2:43pmHuh? What did I say to solicit that remark? Darling, I'm all for Chita. She's a star and a legend. I just think that "Chita Rivera: The Dancer's Life" is a sucky show and does a disservice to Chita Rivera. That's all.

Posted: 1/28/06 at 2:46pmI'm sorry it sounded personal. I just grabbed something from one of your posts. I agree about The Dancer's Life. Chita Rivera deserves better material...but then again I love her even in subpar material like Merlin and Bring Back Birdie.

With several of the shows still pending an opening night, it's all speculation. If you believe the buzz, Lestat is in trouble... I haven't heard much at all about Tarzan... To me, Jersey Boys looks like a favorite at the moment, but remember that a lot can happen in the four or so months left to Tony time.
