Kringas, had Chita received the kind of reviews and reception that, say, Elaine Stritch did, I'd agree with you.
Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

Huh? What did I say to solicit that remark? Darling, I'm all for Chita. She's a star and a legend. I just think that "Chita Rivera: The Dancer's Life" is a sucky show and does a disservice to Chita Rivera. That's all.

I'm sorry it sounded personal. I just grabbed something from one of your posts. I agree about The Dancer's Life. Chita Rivera deserves better material...but then again I love her even in subpar material like Merlin and Bring Back Birdie.

To hop back to the slight threadjack question about a page or so ago... I'm not even really going to hazard a guess at Best Musical winner yet. With several of the shows still pending an opening night, it's all speculation. If you believe the buzz, Lestat is in trouble... I haven't heard much at all about Tarzan... To me, Jersey Boys looks like a favorite at the moment, but remember that a lot can happen in the four or so months left to Tony time.
